Rachel is a two-time NZ Professional Latin Champion, representative to the World Championships, owner of Just Dance Studio in Southern California, and currently a judge on Dancing with the Stars New Zealand.
Rachel dedicates her life to everything dance, from coaching and preparing her couples and students for various competitions, to judging prestigious events, and also developing dance programs for schools and hospitals.
Rachel’s grandmother Emma Feinstein was a famous pianist who passed away several years ago, and had Alzheimer’s disease for many years. Even though the disease had affected her brain, she still fully understood music. This is what led Rachel to be so interested in music and dance. Dancing integrates several brain functions at once — kinesthetic, rational, musical, and emotional — further increasing your neural connectivity. Rachel’s years of experience have proved that dance doesn’t know dementia.
